The origin of Shiromi Yuzu Juice
Shiromi is a small village in southern Japan. Located deep in the mountains, it had almost fallen into oblivion, as most of the residents were over 60 years old. Yu Hidaka, a trained chef, took on the global marketing of the Yuzu fruits grown there. It was only through the sale of the special Yuzu juice that younger people became aware of the small village again. Today's Yuzu production therefore represents an important element for the preservation of the small village in southern Japan.
